Both Teton County and the Town of Jackson annually commit funding resources to health and human services in our community. Historically, funding requests have been based on past requests that have not been organized by human service area. In an effort to address this, both Teton County and the Town of Jackson adopted the Health and Human Services Resource Allocation Plan in 2020. The goal of this plan is to provide strategic direction for community planning and prioritization of human services in our community using the determined goals below to reach the vision for Human Services in the region.
Beginning in FY 27 The Health Department will be administering this funding request for the Board of County Commissioners. The Health department will recommend Health and Human Service funding to the Board of County Commissioners based on the prior year's funding appropriation and using the 2020 Health and Human Services Resource Allocation Plan. The goal for FY 27 is to maintain year- over-year stability in fudning distributions to existing recipients.
