Current Series and Issue: As depicted in the header, Wyoming`s current plate series carries the Tetons. By law, the plate must contain the county number designation in which issued, followed by the bucking horse and rider emblem and a distinctive number assigned to the vehicle.

Display Requirements: Wyoming plates are based upon an eight (8) year cycle. The year 2009 is the first year in the eight year cycle of the Teton plate series. In Wyoming, owners of a motorized vehicle, excluding motorcycles, are required to display both a front and rear plate.

Wyoming plates belong to you, remove them when you sell the vehicle.
