Since 2002, Jackson Community Recycling has offered magazine and catalogue recycling at the Jackson Pearl Street, Maple Way, and Wilson Post Offices. In addition, JCR has offered recycling at the Teton Village Post Office since 2005. Approximately 23% of the 603 tons of magazines and catalogues recycled annually in Jackson Hole have been recycled at these four post offices.
Since July of 2009, all paper recyclables, including magazines, catalogues, newspaper, and junk mail are collected at the Jackson-Maple Way Post Office, making recycling even more convenient for patrons of Maple Way. JCR thanks Tammy Halstead, Maple Way Postmaster, and custodial staff at the Maple Way Post Office, for their support and cooperation with collecting paper recyclables at that location.
JCR thanks Kelly French, owner of Jackson Curbside Recycling, who collects the catalogues and magazines at the other three post offices. JCR contracts with Curbside for this valuable service.
