Household Hazardous Waste includes: motor oil, antifreeze, corrosives such as batteries, acid-based products, ammonia-based cleaners and photo chemicals; flammable liquids such as paint, brake fluid, transmission fluid and other automotive products; oxidizers such as chlorine products, hydrogen peroxide, nitrites and nitrates; flammable solids such as adhesives, glues, waxes and silicone sealants; aerosols; poisons and pesticides; countless other goodies like oil filters, grout, caulk, thermometers and fluorescent lamps. And some but not all: drain openers, oven cleaners, bleach, toilet bowl cleaners and furniture polish.
