Public Health Nursing (PHN) is an organization within the Community and Public Health Division of the Wyoming Department of Health. "PHN" is located in county health offices throughout Wyoming, and consists of professional individuals with one main concern: "Healthy People in Healthy Communities".

Environmental Health staff provide public health protection and services in the form of; regulation of pools, food & beverage establishments; daycare sanitation, food service manager & pool operator training; and act as a resource for drinking water quality, indoor air, childhood lead poisoning, & general health hazard county concerns.

EPA certified water laboratory-testing public/private drinking water and public pools/spas for harmful bacteria.

All Hazards

The All Hazards Program is responsible for early detection and rapid response to biological or chemical events, infectious disease outbreaks, or natural disasters to prevent and mitigate illness and injuries to the residents of Teton County.
