The Teton County Road and Levee Department announces the temporary closure of the Swinging Bridge, which crosses the Snake River south of Evans Trailer Court, to allow Wyoming Department of Transportation to conduct its annual bridge inspection.  The bridge will close on Tuesday, August 28th at 8:30a.m. and remain closed for approximately five (5) hours.  WYDOT’s work includes inspection of the bridge structure, deck, pins and spans. 

Travelers may access Henry’s Road at the south entrance from Highway 26/89, near the KOA Campground.  Teton County emergency service agencies are aware of the closure and plans are in place to ensure public safety during this temporary closure. 

The Road and Levee Department thanks the public for their patience and cooperation while this important bridge inspection is conducted.
