Demolition Waste Disposal
August 13, 2012, Jackson, WY - Prior to transporting demolition waste to the Trash Transfer Station, Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling requires 48 hour advance notice, as well as receipt of asbestos abatement paperwork from contractors delivering large volumes of demolition waste. Loads arriving at the Transfer Station without this prior notice and paperwork will be turned away.
The Teton County Trash Transfer Station does not accept materials which contain any type of asbestos.

The public is reminded to call the Scale House, 733-7172, 48 hours in advance for all demolition loads to allow ISWR staff to provide the space needed to handle these materials. Asbestos abatement paperwork can be faxed to ISWR at 733-7616, emailed to kjasperson@tetonwyo.org, or dropped off in person at either the Community Recycling or the Trash Transfer Station during business hours.
