Marriage License Application

Legal Age:

18 years of age or older

If you are 16 or 17, a signed written consent of the father, mother, guardian or person having the care and control of the minor. The written consent shall be proved by the testimony of at least one (1) competent witness. 

If you are 15 or younger, a Judge’s court order is required.

Identification:

You must present a picture ID: Driver’s license, Passport, Military ID, or School ID.

Information Required for Both Parties:

Groom and Bride must appear in our office together

Social Security Number

Current Residential Address

Date of Birth

Place of Birth (State or Foreign Country)

Father’s first and last name, place of birth (State or Foreign Country)

Mother’s first and maiden last name, place of birth (State or Foreign Country)

If applicable, the number of prior marriages and the date of the last divorce was finalized or the date the former spouse passed away

Associated Fees:

License fee: $25.00 in cash or check payable to the Teton County Clerk

Visa, MC & Discover credit cards are accepted, however there will be a third party convenience fee associated with the use of a credit card.

         **As of July 1, 2013 the license fee will increase to $30.00

$5.00 for Certified copy of marriage license (to change last name or for insurance purposes)

Additional Information:

There is no waiting period in Wyoming

Blood tests are not required in Wyoming

A Wyoming marriage license can only be used in the State of Wyoming

The application expires one year from the date of issuance
