The Teton County Animal Regulations were formally adopted by the Teton County Board of County Commissioners on May 18, 2004 and went into effect on July 1, 2004.

Wyoming Statute §11-31-301(LexisNexis 2003) authorizes board of county commissioners to enact regulations relative to dogs running at large, vicious dogs, dogs running wild game or livestock or acts by other animals that are consistent with the purposes of Wyoming Statute §11-31-301.
