Spring Clean Up 2022

The annual Town of Jackson and Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling event, Spring Clean Up, will take place from May 9^th-May 14^th. Please see details for the event below:

• No curbside pick-up will occur.
• One-day only yard waste collection at the Teton County Fairgrounds on Friday, May 13^th 9am-6pm.
• Yard waste can also be brought to the Trash Transfer Station from 7am-3pm Monday-Friday, and 9am-1pm on Saturday. First 500 pounds free May 9^th-May 14^th. 
• Free disposal applies to residential yard waste only. No commercial operations.
• Free compostable brown bags are available at: 
  1. Town Hall (150 E. Pearl Ave.)
  2. Town of Jackson Public Works Administration Building (450 W. Snow King Ave.) 
  3. Recycling Center (3270 S. Adams Canyon Dr.) 
• Attendees of the event should expect to unload their own yard waste at both sites.
• Dog poo, plastic bags, and other trash will be sent home with you. 
• Please separate your materials into two piles: 
  1. leaves/grass/twigs 
  2. sticks/branches 

Residential yard waste burn week will be held May 7^th- May 15^th. Please contact Teton County Dispatch before burning at (307) 733-2331.

Additionally, the Rotary Club will be holding their regular Community Litter Clean Up on May 14^th.  If interested in participating, meet at Phil Baux Park or the Old Wilson Schoolhouse at 8:00am.  Please contact jhcleanup@gmail.com for more information. 

Yard waste composting is available year-round at $83/ton at the Transfer Station facility if you are unable to attend this free event.
