Housing Rules and Regulations

Background

The Jackson/Teton County Housing Authority (JTCHA) Guidelines have been adopted by the JTCHA Board, reviewed by the State of Wyoming Attorney General, and adopted by the Jackson Town Council and the Teton County Board of Commissioners. They are referred to in the Land Development Regulations as well as Special Restrictions and Ground Leases. The Guidelines contain details about policies and procedures for Housing programs.

The Guidelines have not been updated since 2008. Since then, the community has adopted a Workforce Housing Action Plan in 2015 which requires the Guidelines to be updated. When updated, the Guidelines will have a new name, Jackson/Teton County Housing Rules and Regulations (Guidelines).

Updating the Guidelines will make sure that community goals are implemented in line with community values and that workforce housing programs are as effective as possible.
