Outdoor Warning Siren System

You may have noticed some of the new sirens that have been installed around the County. The siren pictured can be found at the downtown Jackson fire station and at Teton Village. Additionally, new mechanical sirens have also been installed at the School District Bus Barn, Adam's Canyon fire station, and the Teton Pines fire station. See where all of Teton County's sirens are located on a map.

In Teton County, sirens are programmed to wail continuously for 3 minutes during an emergency activation. After hearing an extended siren wail, tune to local radio, TV, or NOAA All-Hazards Weather Radio to receive an emergency message. Learn more about the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and how sirens fit into it.
