Try Archery classes are a one hour introduction to target archery held on Mondays for 3rd-8th graders. This class is intended to teach students range safety and whistle commands, get fitted for equipment, and learn the steps of shooting a bow and arrow.

Students will receive a Range Pass upon successful completion of this class. Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. and are $8. Adults are welcome!

Open Range (Range Pass Required)

The archery range at the Recreation Center will be open to the public on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Participants must have completed a Try Archery class prior to participation.

All equipment is provided, and personal equipment is allowed but must meet range specifications. Maximum draw weight is 40 pounds and only field tip arrows are allowed.

Range Hours

The range is open Monday and Wednesday evenings from 4:45 to 6:15 p.m. Punch Cards or drop-ins are available.  Punch Cards are transferable.
